Major, major props to the SJW. Those were two great plays to close out the win.

 

A 4 yard pass with 7 seconds remaining? What a ridiculous notion.

I think it was the right call. Watson needed the yards to reach the endzone.

 

Gutsy victory, especially with the officials openly cheating to help Houston. The holding calls on Kuechly and Bradberry in the first half were blatantly false on replay, while the block in the back on the punt was also horseshit as was picking up the flag that would have given us a first down. Allen has come through in the clutch but it's clear that the offense needs a healthy Cam back. Fortunately, the only division games he'll miss are the two against Tampa Bay. McCaffrey is so much better than I thought he would ever be. Kudos to the defense for making key plays.

 

Defense did a great job today.

 

I'm still worried about WRs getting wide open down the field, but the pass rush is starting to heat up.

 

Reid left Cockrell out to dry on that Fuller post route. I get that he was gimpy from the earlier injury but that's all the more reason to play deeper. Carolina was very, very lucky that Watson missed that throw.
