Panthers vs Packers Running Game Commentary

The 3 turnovers killed us. We would have had at least 6 more points, possibly 14 or 17. Lost 3 damn fumbles.

 

i wouldn't even let him fly back on the charter. get him a ticket back to wherever. have an assistant stop by his hotel and forward his suitcase on home. buhbye.

 

That sneak call. Yeah, lightning only strikes once, and I'm not sure Peete could beat Steve-B in a race.

The kicker sucks no doubt, but don't lay all the blame on him. Peete was scatter-armed all day with 2 fumbles and the stupid play calling with 1st and 10 on the 11 was the killer. Not one shot at the end zone. Play it safe for a new kicker?? Please...

Well New Orleans lost, and assuming TB beats the Bungles, we're in a 3 way tie for first in the division with the Cardinals coming to town next week in a game we SHOULD win. Hopefully NO and TB will lose next week. Man it sucks the way we lost today though. Even though we only lost by 3, now people will say we were overrated. I guess that's good for motivation, but losses aren't good for playoff chances. I was starting to think we might have a shot. We HAVE to beat Arizona next week.

 

When we got to the 10, we should have just lined up and ran the ball 3 times, no timeouts, no stopping the clock. Just three run plays. We had the momentum, they wouldn't have stopped us.

 

Hey at least we had Pat Summerall announcing today instead of John Boy and Billy.
