    Firing Rivera and Gettleman would probably feel good, much like firing Hurney felt good, but the stark reality is that they would both get replaced with two other idiots. That's the NFL. There's a small minority of teams that know what they're doing, and couple of perennial doormats, and a whole lot of teams in the middle. The Panthers are the middle.
