Panthers vs Falcons Running Commentary

The Falcons really do have a bunch of fucking underachievers. They're getting good stats today against this awful defense, but this should be a blowout by now. What a dog shit effort by Pitts.

So what can we get for Dionte Johnson and Miles Sanders?

 

This game was a perfect summary of Tepper's tenure as owner. Kinda interesting at first, but in a frustrating way, and then a rapid slide into futility.

 

Coker, Legette, J Sanders, Jonathan Brooks

I am somewhat excited about the very young playmakers we have and the experience they are getting. Now, who will throw them the ball is another conversation altogether going forward.

Not incredibly excited about the defense however

Get something for Miles Sanders and D Johnson and draft for depth next season. We are not a deep team at all

 

To be fair, Morgan spent a lot of money on defensive players. They're just not good defensive players.

I've completely abandoned any hope of this team ever being good under Tepper's ownership. I've made peace with this, sincerely.


The Steve Wilks season will probably be the high water mark. That'll be the 2003 of the Tepper era.

 

Yeah, as a child, I watched football at my daddy’s knee watching the Redskins get their ass kicked all the time. Now I’m an old man I get to watch the Panthers get their ass kicked all the time. Maybe I should’ve stuck with the Redskins.

I don't even feel great about the offense. It's just looked good compared to this historically awful defense. It's the side of the ball with any sign of life, but three of the six games have been god awful, while the second half of this one was also pretty bad.
