Panthers Vs Cowboys game thread..

I went back and looked at the film, the ref blew the whistle at 2:02. This changes everything. Panthers were screwed today.

 

As much as we get on JR, I appreciate the fact that he was stalling the labor negotiations with the refs. NFL officials are fucking horrible.

 

Just terrible showing on offense again. No rhythm at all. It's nice Cam could complete a pass today but overall shitty play calling and shitty execution. We can't run the ball at all. Yet there has been no effort to adjust play calling. You can't fault the defense much in this game. Offense has scored 17 points last two games. Ain't gonna win shit with that

 

absolutely got screwed hard three different ways in the last two minutes.
But, had an opportunity with the ball and fucked it away.

I don't mind the run after the clock stopped but it felt obvious. That's where you go back to the cross or the out, if you're willing to do something to let the clock run.

 

Totally expected a loss so was kind of calm through the whole thing. No shortage of fuck ups to point to, especially on offense. But still if they call the PI late we weren't in horrible shape.

I was pretty good with the defense, minus the TD drive. Better than I expected, except for the pass rush.

PS: read option still sucks.

 

Wasn't a great game, but they were in it. Couldn't fight Dallas and the refs in the end. I really thought we had a fair shot at pulling it out - not that we def would, but hopeful. Then the refs shot any chance we had. Don't really feel particularly bad about this one, butb then again my whole life is in the shitter right now so most anything outside of my life looks hopeful.

Nice to see the offense took the bye week to learn absolutely nothing.

Thanks. Lost a cousin to on going heart issues week before last - she was older, her sister has pancreatic cancer and has been given 2-3 months, step dad's cancer back & "buying time" and with all this going on, work decides to kick me while I'm down. So good times. But it does put football GAMES in perspective.
