This is what we have with Cam. The highs will be incredibly amazing, but the lows are like this. That's our marriage for the next 8-10 years.

Yea, not a good game. At all. But I don't think I'll ever forget the 4th qtr image of an absolutely physically drained Thomas Davis holding court with his defense on the sideline.

I just liked everything about that moment as a fan: it was clearly a man taking initiative at exactly the right time and in exactly the right manner and tone. No egos, no. childish pushing and shoving.

What followed was one of the absolute most abusive, determined high-stakes defensive efforts I've ever seen, knowing that just a three-and-out wouldn't do. Davis literally willed his team into forcing another takeaway.

I'm convinced that we have a lot of growing up to do, but I'm certainly not unhappy with our defensive leaders, Davis particular.

And just to reinforce my stance on this:

Cam got mindfucked by a combination of variables, and it was evident by the second quarter on that his ability to manage the clock, adrenaline and nerves was completely lacking. His business decision late in the game bothers me on a very superficial level, but I am more concerned with your overall pre-snap clock management and most disappointed in his soft, childish post-game commentary. I don't consider it as some sort of relapse, as has been suggested by every white person on television tonight, but being fully accountable is a full time job. Davis would probably agree. No, I absolutely know he would agree with that. So let's hope Cam continues to be absolutely awesome in terms of offensive production, without acquiring the Greg Norman disease on a terminal basis.

Hey, it was also pretty awesome to see our punt coverage unit pull off the most embarrassing special teams play in Superbowl history, or at least of any in the past couple of decades. I like Dehaven, I think he's very solid coach and an upgrade over Rodgers. But his teams units sure do like to trip over their dick in really high profile moments. I find it overwhelmingly disappointing to hear the emphasis that Gettleman put on improving special teams play, in almost a defiant tone, yet every other week, you're either forking over points off of blocked kicks, or serving up a world championship to your opponent by refusing to tackle the man with the football in his hand.

I am pretty pissed off that this team has gift wrapped 2 separate Lombardi trophies over the past 12 years.

I am annoyingly optimistic to most who know me. But, I recognize a that there is a renewed sense ofconcern regarding our coach and our quarterback. I don't allow too much noise to affect my support for this team.

I don't think Cam will be any more enjoyable to gameplan against, and while I do see that Rivera may have experienced a moment of weakness late in the game, I'm pretty damn happy with what he's built and how he manages situations. If 10-13 wins becomes the annual standard, even with an occasional playoff loss or absence, you'd be pretty wise to hold on to him for a while.

I will yield to the facts for now, and trust that winning 22 of their prior 25 games is not only not a disastrous situation, but a very positive sign of consistency and future opportunities for championship pursuits.

I sure as hell did want to take it home tonight though. I hate it for a lot of guys. Myself included. I am NOT sorry for Mike Shula. I don't consider that being part of the chorus of the obvious, he simply is terrible as a play caller, and has absolutely no sense of situational football at times.

so there's my thoughts on the whole mess that was Superbowl 50. that game was almost unwatchable, even as a fan.it reminded me so much of that other Superbowl, you know when a team won with less than 200 total yards of offense. oh wait, tonight was the first time that's ever happened? awesome!

Mike Shula can take his 500 total points from 2015 and shove them up his unqualified ass. he seems like the kind of dick that would write that into his own bio, totally ignoring the defensive points and field position advantages leading to the statistical anomaly.

I feel really bad for McDermott, he looked like an Isis hostage tied to a chair in a motel 6 while watching von Miller inseminate his wife. I really hope he was yelling shit over at Shula through the headsets, just sarcastic shit about how is dad is Don Shula and reminding him that his dad is Don Shula.

Ok saw Cam's post game. Can't get too upset I've always hated them talking to losing team post game. But I did wonder how cam would react if things weren't going as well as they did all season. He wears his heart on his sleeve good or bad. Losing sucks. Not sure I would t just decline post game entirely if it had been me. Not really defending him, just know how he must feel.
