    The nicknames “Cobras,” “Rhinos,” and “Cougars” were all considered before franchise owner Jerry Richardson settled on “Panthers” at the suggestion of his son Mark, who’d always liked the big, black cats.

    Then they fired him.

    Jared Allen has been named a starter as was Thomas Davis. Question. I'm starting to get a but nervous of Ware and Miller on the edge with our tackles. Run up the middle to offset their speed or run at them?

    You know we are gonna counter, trap, etc. bet we may even see a QB draw fake statue of reverse. I'd like to annex some Puerto Rico on their ass.

    I saw where Rivera said last game no holds barred as far as running the QB.
