I remember toward the end with Fox magnus said something like 2001 Fox would not put up with the performance of the 2010 team. Feels like we've hit the same point with Rivera.

 

I think B&B said it best last January: sometimes, it’s just time. He’s almost been here for a decade. He’s held together the team through some pretty tough times, and his teams have also underperformed.

To let Shanahan do that to this defense is unconscionable. I knew it might be challenging, but there were some real telling issues today.

 

When we drafted him we could have gotten Ridley. More than one time I wish we had taken him. Moore goes absent a lot

 

Doing the woulda/coulda game is a lot like a loser`s limp.
It`s a bad look and does nothing for the current situation.
Losses happen. They happen to everyone, but people/fans are survivors.
We go on to the next one.
Maybe the bye week came at a bad time.
I think it would have been better if it came on a losing streak instead of a winning streak.
No one wants to stop the flow and rhythm of a winning streak.
To come out of break and playing a good team like the 49ers was just a tarpit waiting to be stepped into.
Bring on the next motherfuckers. I don`t care who is at QB for the Panthers.

 

There is more of a “survivor” attitude with die-hards on this damn board than many actually involved with running the panthers organization. A panther is never the victim. This team needs to change name/logo to The Gazelles, or The Bunnies. When consistent NFL contenders suffer losses it is not a ‘rollover and die’ blowout. Find ANY playoff team that suffered a 52-21, or a 51-13 beatdown. The panthers are obviously not a consistent contender and are not looking at a 2019 post season. Poor ownership and management are to blame <period>
There was hope that Tepper would change things for the better. Carolina could evolve into a Steeler or Packer type of franchise now right?

Tepper hasn’t done anything but evaluate stuff. Next year we will see who he chooses to replace Rivera. I want to see him swing for the fucking fences.
