    Would be curious too.

My favorite Hurney moment was after the Bills game. He must have some incentive in his contract to join the wrap-up show for a 10-minute diatribe, win or lose.

Driving home that night, Hurney comes on (in studio, since the game is at home), and sounded like a man who would be hanging from a shower rod about an hour later.

I swear, I have heard few people whose voice sound as dejected and defeated after a loss than Hurney.

he was on for like two hours so I didn't listen to all of it. he talked about Peppers situation, Jake, where they are as far as drafting players,WR,etc. He talked about the ticket increase "never a good time" and he got blasted by callers about the increase.

    listen here

    listened to nearly all.

letting go of delhomme was difficult. they stated to move in the direction of that when moore went in and the team played well.

    similar events with peppers.

    denies the team is rebuilding.

    disputes the team going cheap.

agrees that smith needs help, but said that can come from other avenues. didn't give a good answer as to why they didn't pursue boldin, which packer was all for, and brought it up several times.

was particularly elusive about draft plans, only talking about 1 player specifically that i heard. tebow. which is probably not who we need. bpa was mentioned more.

fox is fine with his contract status.

said he has been too aggressive at times.

feels the team has not been mired in mediocrity. callers got after him on that one especially.

pretty much sums it up. it was worth a listen.

people have no fucking idea what mediocrity is. I hate this goddamned fanbase sometimes. I mean seriously, you have the GM and you want to bitch about your shitty $3 seat change.

Interesting Hurney comes public as frequently as he does. Not sure how other teams work but he addresses the fans nicely. Haven't listened to it but I agree with him that we aren't "rebuilding" and that we aren't simply mediocre. We've made some serious runs deep into the playoffs and have had some very nice seasons.

Sucks they are raising ticket prices but they are still relatively cheap compared to the rest of the league. Also, while Boldin would help not sure he's worth what we'd have to pay him.

I like our team. Apart from Julius who will be missed we didn't give up any great players. If Brett Favre doesn't play this year Jake will be the oldest startig QB in the league. Sometimes you gotta let the young guys step up.

When talking about our secondary, Marshall's name was not mentioned. Maybe we'll be getting a pick.

actually mine were 7 which amounts to another 140 a year for 2 and of course you have to buy or you lose an investment worth 30k for me.
I didnt call to bitch about it but it's a bunch of shit considering how the off season has went so far

You have a thirty thousand dollar 'investment' and you are bitching about an extra 140 bucks a year?

How bad has the offseason been? outside of not re-signing peppers for an insane amount of money, what have we really lost? People have been bitching about Jake for years and he is gone. Kemo is coming off a major injury. Lewis isnt worth the money he was due...even in an uncapped year. Hoover's back is shot.

What big name free agent would you want?

I know the tickets went up and it stings a bit. But shit...go to a game in another city...somewhere like cleveland or cincy or detroit....where the tickets are more expensive and yes...the beer is more expensive.
