6.1 YARDS AVERAGE A CARRY .Try to find another RB with an average that high. I just think that Tenn has 2 awsome backs and they didn't need another. Did anyone see Holcombe run on Monday night? He was really good. This might just be what we need. I sure hope they let Hicks get alot of carries the next two games to see how he does. I was really hoping for Stephen Davis, but let's give this Hicks guy a chance. He looks like he can get it done, if given the carries:)

After all the problems with our offense this year we are willing to give the starting RB spot to a career backup? I would prefer Stephen Davis under a short contract (because of his age) or make a trade for Shaun Alexander (I have heard that Holmgren prefers the Morris guy in Seattle). Alexander would be perfect for us good north/south runner with enough speed and is young. What would it take to get him?

Yeah, that 6.1 is deceiving. When he was getting alot of carries in Washington, he was 3.5 per carry.

Hell - we got nothing to lose. Keep him on the roster for camp, too. Nothing to lose. I hope he's the Priest Holmes of 2003.

I for one lobbied for drafting Hicks, but he has only had that one year in Tenn where he was productive and that was on limited carries.
At this point, he's at least servicable as a starter and a good back-up. LOVE to ses him become the back I thought he was coming out of college.

I am not saying don't go after Stephen Davis in the off season, but I would like to see what this Skip Hicks guy brings to the table in the last two games:D

  7. How about Ricky Watters? Any concerns on "attitude" in the locker room? Too many miles on the tires?
