Yeah. I think our Dee Brown was at Syracuse last year.

You are correct sir! Brown was on IR in 2001, but we drafted him in the sixth round last April. He had an ankle injury that prevented him from contributing.

Still don’t get your fascination with Vernon. I figured that 4.7+ 40 time would have quieted that talk. That, and the Hula Bowl is really the dog of all the All-Star games.

I hadn't seen his combine numbers, but he looked faster than 4.7 when I saw him play. Plus, there were quite a few top shelf players in the Hula Bowl. There actually always are, by my account.

Top Shelf Players = Captain Morgan, Jose Quervo, Jack Daniels, Jim Beam, Johnny Walker. We really need to work on our roster, one out of 5 sucks.

maybe this is naive optimism, but i don't see huntley as a sub-par starter. as the season progressed, he became more and more productive, imho. i'm glad smith is here. and correct me on this as needed, but dee brown seems to be more in the "scat back" mold.

considering our rushing "attack" has been lame for some time, i expect more enthusiasm, realistic enthusiasm concerning these moves. besdies, the "big money" needs to be spent on defense. and with very little "big money" there, these moves, i think, are pretty good. thanks.
