He saw Carter, and Smith only has two of our catches.

Jake needs to get rid of that ball, I'm not questioning or giving him a pass.

But Colbert's struggling, particuarly if he gets pressed.

It would be tough to make an arguement for Goings there, yes. Just seems the numbers he posted as a starter and from memory even when he is more involved are considerably better. Then again, it's pretty much that way for many backs, they need to get a feel for the game. Where as, you have a Michael Turner type or Adrian Petersen who can step in and spread out 8-10 carries for respectable yardage.

and Jake has trouble with that man in his face. Seems like he was getting down to having Mitchell in his chest when the blitz came from the back.

I don't know what you do in that situation. Gross gives up a lot of space so it's not like he can roll right, which is where you want him to go.

Foster has trouble with this footing, but he also looks tenative as hell. He had that first down, easily.

Pocket collapses from the outside as well as up the middle, nothing left to do but stick your head between your legs and kiss your ass goodbye. He should have eatin it and taken the sack...hindsight.

the play before the pitch on 3rd clearly showed how tentative he is running.
