Apparently there was a pseudo-fight between Grant and Horn before the game? The AP has a story on it.


Saints tangle before game

NEW ORLEANS (AP) - The New Orleans Saints and Carolina Panthers did not wait for the game to get after each other.

The players - primarily the Saints receivers and Panthers defensive backs - did some shoving and exchanged words during the pregame warmup.

Carolina safety Deon Grant led a contingent of Panthers in a confrontation with Saints receivers Joe Horn and Jake Reed, and New Orleans cornerback Dale Carter. Horn shoved Grant and then Panthers coach John Fox grabbed Grant's arm and led him away.

The fracas was apparently sparked by remarks made after the first game between the teams this season. Saints receiver Joe Horn said after that game that he saw fear in the eyes of Carolina's secondary during New Orleans' game-winning drive.

 

And isn't A.J. Feeley the Eagles QB?

 

I can handle that draw. No point in chancing something that has no chance of making enough yardage. The rest have sucked, though.

Think there'd be a market for Wallace in trade? Not that we necessarily should, but I'd entertain. Getting another 4th out of the whole thing would be interesting.

 

Joe Horn 1 catch 10 yards. He done pissed the Panthers DBs off.

 

Ha...their playcalling is worst then ours! Although ours has been much better in recent weeks.

 

We'll take the FG by Carney. Nice job by the D clamping down and we still lead 7-6.
