Panthers need to target 5positions for upgrade in offseason

    In order of importance:
    1) RB-- free agency more likely than draft
    2) OL-- one from the draft and one from free agency
    3) QB-- one from the draft and one from free agency
    4) WR-- one from the draft and one from free agency
    5) CB-- not a glaring need but would like to upgrade

The Panthers will go hard after RB & OL in free agency.
Fox wants a run oriented, ball control offense.

    Can't argue there.

I hope they get rid of Fasani, or make him compete with actual QB's for a job. I don't want New FA / Rookie / Fasani as our depth chart.

No doubt about that. I'd love to see a Lorenzen/Fasani battle.

Safety is an area I think they'll address. As in Grant.

Or maybe the last few games he 'came around'.

I dunno that we'd need to do that. If we had two good receivers, and two good QBs, and two more good linemen, and a good fullback, and a franchise back, and another good corner, then S is a spot where we could push our starter. But instead of having those things, we're needing those things.

  8. Meat, don't forget that Coop played strong safety in college. I'm hoping that he'll have enough time to rehab before the season and be able to play more defensive plays this year.

Could plug Rashard Anderson in as a safety for some competition, not exactly great quality but hopefully enough of a push to make grant better.

Is Winslow from Miami coming out? If so I say we get his ass at all costs.
