Nice drive. The early passing was too safe and that's going to take some work, but the run game (with a fail or two) really thrived, line has some pop, and guys are just executing.

Jake well overthrew Smitty, might've been design might not. He was fairly accurate elsewhere. Kinda hoping King would show something other than the bobble. Now all 3 TEs are playing.

It's great seeing the O get to the line fast and with a purpose instead of standing around coming to the line slow.

Beuerlein is awful. It was worth a chuckle to hear him call Henning a scapegoat after hearing him talk about how much Seward played, and calling McClover McGlover repeatedly.

Carr has an amazing pocket presence. :beatdeadhorse5: He does have a live arm which is nice, though.

Goings fits a lot better with the O than I figured.

defense hurt by being too aggressive at times. Better that than reactive. Nice play by Lucas on the reverse in the 1st quarter.

I like the fact that the offense looked good on the short stuff. Last year was either a run or a bomb. The short and intermediate stuff was missing. That first drive was nice, if they can sustain drives like that this year then that alone will make a big difference.

I was not all that impressed with Carr. You can tell he is gun shy. Seward looked decent. Maybe he keep Beason at WLB when Morgan goes down.
