Lay off the man Kakia. He loves the Panthers. :)

I taped the game and I have Joshua all day tomorrow so I can watch again and watch individual players.

hey, i was thoroughly impressed with his commentary. any man that is totally devoted to his team gets good marks in my book. Besides, he gets rolling and hyped up when the beers kick in. Kind of funny.

i'll love the panthers too if they kick the falcons' ass. But in the end, Tampa Bay will be top dog. it's inevitable

Be surprised if Walls isn't quoted in the disturber whining about not getting the ball more on Monday.

Well said, I'm a little nervous now, cause I know the guy has had his inconsistencies... what I'd like to see now is a "challenge" for the 1 spot. Winky needs to be pushed if he is going to reach his potential, but yes, Fasani, looked better than any rookie in a pre season game.

Well, I didn't see the game, but coming out of college, he is defenitely more physically able that any other college QB. If he bottoms out at QB, we could always play him at the H-back. Seriously.

His problems in college have always been consistancy, and 2, injuries, which have kept him from developing. On a side note, did he ever slide on a run, or did he take the hit? That was a sticking point at Stanford, he took too many hits that lead to injuries.

He kinda tucked but yea, he took a few hits. He also showed some Weinke like poise, releasing a few passes right before getting smashed.

I'd much rather argue about Fasani/Weinke than Peete/Weinke. Although, knowing Henning, it will be difficult for Fasani to unseat Peete. Peete would have to suck, not just be outplayed. At least for this year. I don't see Peete here at all next season, and Randy would have a year under his belt.

Again, I hate to comment since I didn't see the game. Running through these comments and some others, and looking at the final stats. It seems both QBs did fairly well. Multiply Weinke's numbers by 4, that's pretty good. Take away the big gainer to Moose, and it looks a little to WCO-like, but no real bad plays but someone said Moose dropped a deep one? Factor that in. Not bad for a quarter of work.

It seems like when Moose fucks up, it's an easy one. The more difficult catches take more concentration, but he's not following through always on the gimmees.

I feel that Williamson may help to work that situation out.

One thing to comment on, if we really wanted to win the game, we wouldn't have put Watkins in. But he needed to get in. This is what preseason games are (and why you should never ever bet on them.)

One of the top 3 guys may get hurt. So we need to develop the guy, see what we have, in case we need to get another #3 should an ACL (God forbid) got torn.
