Oh I'll agree w/ you on that... the kid played excellent... I just think if Wenkie had a decent running game he'd have played MUCH better... as far as Fasani goes IMO he's our starter in 2 years... unless of course someone else gets drafted, but as of this point he looks like a steal

    Other notes...
Bright - He's got hands, he's got speed, he BETTER be moving up the depth chart

Defense - (except the last few guys) hit hard an played DAMN good... after shaking off some nerves these guys have a TON of potential

    Mike Watkins - Shoot him

Foster - Starter on Aug. 17

Eugene Robinson - He sucks ass as color on the radio

Mike Watkins - Shoot him again if he moves

I'm pleased as well. The 2nd team Offense looked great, especially the Big 3 of Fasini, Foster and Bright.

Wonder how much time Fasini gets next week when Peete comes back? IMO, he needs to jump right up to the backup QB atleast for the remainder of the preseason. After watching his performance today he needs as many reps as possible. (I mean this is a good way.)

    Fasani should eclipse Peete.

Fasani looked better than any young qb I can ever remember us having.

Sportcenter didn't even mention Fasani. Bright had 120+ yards and a td, but no explanation for how he got those numbers.

    :roflmao: funny shit...

Who was that up there said Fasani starts in 2 years... GD Fu*K Sh*t, please tell me what we owe Winky? Look I have said Winky could be a winner, he has the po... but you will never get much more than that. Fasani, will have some bad games that are real bad cause his weakness will show, but at the end of the day, which guy has a better shot of making something happen with the game tied in the 4th qtr? Me thinks Fasani. Now I'm going out on a limb here, but that's nothing new when it comes to QB talks.

I just don't get this, oh give Winky Foster and a running game and he will get better... I'm like yea sofuckingwhat, so will Fasani, whats your (anybody) point?

Damn it we are 1-16 now, FOX I like you man, but you had on paper your 3rd string QB, you did not owe to Gatorboy to play a 4th string QB!!!!

By the way, did Peppers play tonight? :D

    Fox interview -

Used only 4 defensive shemes, didn't blitz nearly as much as they will reg season.

Bit by plan they stuck with to put Watkins in. But stuck with evaluation plan. (and, IMHO, had a valuable evaluation of Watkins)

    More positives than negativesa.

Reminds me of the Chevy Chase seen in vacation where he and his wife wrap arms around each other, glance down at the Grand Canyon and say, yea uh, ok lets go... (seen it done it not get out) :D
