Panthers and Redskins Running Commentary

Ill accept that line of thought, only you have to look at the big picture. WE have to also, give the players a chance to execute.

WHen our line clearly isnt protecting well, we cant run PA on third downs, when theyre almost all long. When Key ran the slant, he was open, but it didnt get there in time, because we ran a fake end around. Im cool with SOME of that, but too often, Jake was preoccupied for a second or two with executing some kind of stupid fake, taking him away from the fucking play. Too often, we passed in chunks and ran in chunks. There was not nearly enough balance to the offense. At a time, we abandoned the run. WHen we had the LEAD....teh fucking LEAD....we were both averageing 4.5 yards on the ground. THey ran it 30 times, we ran it 18. Explain that.

ITs just not acceptable anymore. We were calling really strange calls at odd times of the game. We went long almost every play. SOmeone ALWAYS went long.

Gaines was running streaks 50% of the time. THere were at least five times in the first half that we had guys running deep, that couldve cut back for a comeback that wouldve warrented easy first downs. WHy arent we giving reason to the way we run plays? Why arent we using them to set the opposing defense up? Why are we forgetting to have any balance?

Yeah, our guys need to execute better. BUt thats what Dan Reeves said a lot, when he was losing all the time. Its obvious that if every team executed perfectly, they would kick ass, but there are other teams ttoo, trying to mess that up. Thats why you have to give your players a chance to execute.

Yeah, JD stunk it up too. Yeah, he lost it at the end. But for three quarters, our offense never had a chance to execute a smart, sensible gameplan.

 

Some of you guys might get a big refund for your playoff tickets if we dont make it though.

 

The O line was not as good as last week. But still there is NO REASON in the world what so ever for Jake to pass the ball to Smitty 5 guys defended him. I don't care how good you need to find a WR that is open or run with the ball or throw the ball away. But you can't under any reason what so ever Throw an INT.I will admit that I have been a Jake fan for a long time. With that said is one of the reason we are 6-5 and not 9-2 The Cinny game he made a bad pass and we lost. The Cowgays game he made few bad pass and we lost. I think some time Jake is trying to hard. Stop trying to hard and take what the D is giving you. In less something change and Jake start playing better and stop making stupid mistake. Then we should look to replace him

Yeah, we do, but it just is at a bad time with the holidays coming up. Besides, you have to write to the Panthers to ask for the refund; you don't automatically get it. They automatically credit it toward next year's tickets if you don't ask for the refund.

 

And while we have less then 3 weeks to pay them, they get 4-6 to refund.

 

The Bears are showing that you CAN be hyped, and still put together a good season. The Patriots, Eagles of past, have proven that you can have back to back winning seasons, deep into the playoffs. Man....look at the history of the league. Its possible to put back to back winning seasons together. WHy do we have to struggle like this, lol?

Fuck this, man. Fuck these guys running the program. Make it fucking work or get the fuck out.
