Figured he would re-sign anyway, but it's one less thing to worry about.

 

I am all for signing Williams to a decent deal or letting him walk if it's too expensive. But if we do let him go, aren't we going to be in this exact same situation next year with Stewart, without a decent fallback position?

 

Signing DeAngelo and trading Stewart wouldn't be a bad idea, but his injuries probably limit his trade value.

 

We would probably trade Goodson or Sutton before we trade JStew.

 

Damn. Kind of sucks for him, but not sure there would have been a huge market. Interesting the team is rushing to sign him long term after the two knee injuries. I'm liking the LB's if they retain Anderson on the strong side.
I really think our safeties are sub-par.
