Am I the only pagan here or are you all hiding in the rafters?

I'm not big on labels, but I'm close enough to heathen to fit that description. ArticulateKitten is a self-professed pagan, if memory serves.

In any case, hail and welcome!

I dated one who couldn't figure out what she was. Literally a new religion every month. Pagan to satanist to humanist to...well, I gave up paying attention at that point, honestly.

I'm pretty sure we either have or had a Wiccan around here, too. But I don't recall her username.

Indeed I am a pagan. I hesitate to label myself any more specifically than that, since paganism is so individualistic--& so am I :)

    Merry Meet :D

    Merry Meet. =)

So are you more in the grey area, whitish area, or more interested in the left hand path?

:) Not sure I'd put it exactly any of those ways, but I suppose grey would be most accurate. Actually I'm pretty colorful :)

To try to boil it down to its essence: I try to be positive/beneficial in my outlooks & actions. I also understand that the universe is made up of opposites by nature, & that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Best example of my philosophy I can think of at the moment is my response to other people who cause me or others harm. I generally believe in protecting without being vindictive--that love & gentleness are capable of healing a great deal. But I don't believe in allowing oneself to be shit on, either; & while it takes a LOT to provoke me to vengefulness, I definitely would be terrified to be the object of my vengeance.
