    I'm not sure about that . . . They got out of the sports game when they lost the Panthers contract and then the Hornets left town and then they fire GerryV . . . I don't think they would get back into the sports game under current station mgmt. (Rick Jackson or Johnson runs the station now and has moved the station more towards news/talk and dropped sports from their menu)

    If (big if) WFNZ could increase its power it would only be during the daytime. I would bet this weeks lunch money that they will never have more than 1000 Watts at night.

    That being said, Johnson did not have enough pull with Infinity to get the Sting games on V101.9. I know the NBA is a lot different than WNBA but you would think that Mr Johnson would get what he wants.

    I think the NBA Games will be on BT and would be suprised if the Panthers aren't back there when their current contract is up....
