    Vonnie Holliday gone.

Just saw on ESPNews. Pack Defense is being exposed, they're giving up over 30 points per game.

ahman green is hurt a little more than expected also. GB made inquiries about Anderson or Watters last week.

Holliday is out and gilbert Brown has to face Mitchell, probably our best drive blocker. Granted, it's an extra 100 lb, but Mitchell was sealing Biekert very well, and I have no doubts that Mitchell will be able to hold his own against the big man.

Cletidus Hunt isn't a slouch, but he's not going to stop it all himself.

Too many Packer threads already so I'll just choose this one. A couple of stats to note going into next week's game:

The Panthers have a +7 turnover ratio lead over the Packers. Surprisingly, Brett only has 2 Interceptions??? I don't think we've ever had less than 2 against him. The Packer's 6 fumbles will play nicely with Del Rio's "get me the ball" mentality.

Green Bay is 3rd in the NFL in passing yards/game (a slot previously occupied by the Vikings) and has only allowed 4 sacks. We tripled Culpepper's previous number of interceptions and almost doubled the Viking's sack total.

The Packers have allowed 33 points a game and have scored an average of 31. The Panthers have allowed 9 points a game while scoring an average of 21. If you take these stats and determine the median you get a score of:

    Panthers 27 - Packers 20.

Coach: "Danny, I need you to get me the ball."

Danny: "I'm gonna get you the ball."

Coach: "Danny, get me the ball."

Danny: "I'M GONNA GET YOU THE BALL!"

    After the play...

Danny: "I GOT YOU THE BALL!"

Coach: "YOU GOT ME THE BALL!"

Danny: "I GOT YOU THE BALL!"

Coach: "YOU GOT ME THE BALL!"

Danny: "I GOT YOU THE BALL!"

Coach: "Go sit down now, Danny."

    Danny: "Okay."

Morgan instead of Bateman. Works for me! :D

Hmmmm......I think you are on to something there, Colin.

Ya know it's funny. Every game we've played so far has been an upset to everyone other than us Panther fans, and Bob Costas.
So the Cheese Heads are 2-1, right?

Both wins have been to teams with losing records, including barely getting by a team that's 0-3, and have been routed by everbody they've played. The only team with a winning record they played, beat them. In fact, the combined record of the team THEY have beeten is 5-1. So they still get loads more respect than us, not udeservidely so, but we should get more. But, as I have said before, I love being an underdog and surprising people.

So if we win, It'll be an upset. Hmmm... a 4-0 team "upsetting" a 2-2 team, who -then- will become among the bottom teams in the NFL cause we beat them.
The only "upset" I see, is me feeling upset if we lose.
Actually I won't really be too upset, as they've made me very happy so far.

But like another thread's post kinda said, If we beat them, it'll be because "GB is hurt and struggling, and doesn't have a winning record. The Panthers really haven't beat anybody. They are the worst 4-0 team ever"- referring to what the 'pundits' will say. And if and I mean IF GB wins, then it will be "GB is back on track winning to a team that it should have beaten", and we will be 3-1, and they will be 3-1.
We will still have a winning record at then end of the day!:D
We can go, at the least- 6 weeks in a row not having a losing record. Not since the second half of the '96 season (and only then) have we been able to go that many weeks with a wiining (or not a losing) record, and I'm lovin' it.

    According to sportingnews.com

RB Ahman Green: Strained quadriceps tendon
Green will return to practice this week after sitting out the Lions game. The coaches wanted to err on the side of caution and went with Rondell Mealey and Najeh Davenport, who offer two different styles. Mealey is a tough inside runner with decent moves. Davenport is big, strong and explosive but very raw.

    S Antuan Edwards: Broken forearm
Analysis: Edwards might be able to play with a pad on his forearm, but he'll probably be out a couple weeks. The leading candidate to replace him is Matt Bowen, but rookie Marques Anderson could get the call.

    FB William Henderson: Knee sprain
Analysis: Henderson has an MCL sprain that could sideline him a couple weeks, although he will be evaluated on Monday. If he can't play, the coaches won't hesitate to use Davenport, although they will probably go with a lot of single-back formations

    WR Javon Walker: Quadriceps strain
Analysis: Walker missed half the game and could be sidelined this week. Much will depend on how he feels on Wednesday. If Walker can't play, Robert Ferguson would fill in. The physical Ferguson had a big game against the Lions and has been eager to play.

    G Marco Rivera: Knee strain
Analysis: Rivera hurt his MCL and didn't return to the game. It doesn't appear to be a bad tear, so there's a good chance he'll be able to play this week if the soreness isn't too bad. Bill Ferrario replaced him and did a decent job.

    TE David Martin: Concussion
Analysis: Martin left Sunday's game because of a concussion. He is day to day.
