I think the biggest problem is that Chudzinski is basically running a spread offense. That's something you'll see occasionally at the NFL level, but not as the base. While it makes Cam more comfortable, it's hurting the ability to run the ball. Not going to speculate about DW until a few more games at least.

You're a bit tough on the kid Collin

While he still needs work, he's doing pretty good for his level of experience. If he doesn't force the ball and turn it over they had a good chance to win. I'm impressed so far because teams are daring him to throw. Also the fact he's not satisfied with passing yards when he's losing. He'll be OK but maybe with all the passing yards teams will have to back off the 8 and 9 man fronts.

They're not using 8 or 9 man fronts. And Cam will continue to pile up yardage but turn the ball over and fail in the redzone until he works on his footwork, anticipation, and accuracy. Frankly I'm not sure the latter two can ever be fixed, as I'm of the belief that it's something you either have or you don't. The team can win with Cam, though. They won with Delhomme's flaws.

Disagree, I think they are doing it because our pass game has been so weak teams are just gonna stack vs the run and dare us to throw

footwork? whatever... over 800 yards in two games, Cam can play football. He just needs experience... As far as reading defenses... I think he did pretty well against one of the most well coached defenses in the league.

Cam's a rookie... those rookie mistakes are going to be there... but there's other issues on our offense... he has no running game to support him and the OC is asking him to do too much.

We abandoned our TE's after the first quarter... I would like someone to explain that to me... and the play calling in the red zone was horrible! HORRIBLE!!

Newton has over 900 yards combined passing and rushing in 2 games.

I just haven't seen that same spark when he's had the ball in his hands.

Looks like it will be Newton vs Gabbert next week. McCown threw 4 picks today.
