yep. there is one weakness in the heels armour, road games with tough crowds. if they can break through this barrier then i'll give them a real shot to make the final four.....maybe even more. we shall see.

Hodge might be a punk, but he's a punk who will have over 2,000 points and a retired number hanging in the RBC center by the end of this season. He and Marcus Melvin pretty much kept Herb around for 5 more years

I thought he did just ok. He did miss 4-5 uncontested layups though that really really hurt us bad. He tries to do too much cause we don't have enough help to give him out there. I feel bad for him cause he tries so hard and he's having a rough year compared to last.

Yeah, Hodge did keep Herb around a few extra years. I don't think he'll have his number "retired" though. In the history of NC State basketball we have only had one number retired and that was David Thompson. Hodge will have his name and number honored and raised up in the rafters, but not retired.

I'm tired of hearing this. All the talking heads are using this to knock UNC - while still touting Wake or dook as "mentally tougher."

But which tough team did dook beat on the road?

    Nobody

Which tough team did Wake beat on the road?

    Nobody

Which tough team did Illinois beat on the road?

Nobody. Maybe Wisconisin? not any tougher than UNC winning at UCONN.

How about Kansas? Nobody other than Kentucky - not any more impressive than UNC's win at UCONN.

all the teams in the Top Ten have beat somewhat tough teams on the road - all which were ranked lower and they were expected to win. UNC is no different than anyone else.
