    Can't say I've ever seen this. A manager with one year left on contract traded for players. Nice way to rid yourself of a headache and get ANYTHING in return

    Belichick & Gruden were both traded for in the NFL. Pretty sure it's happened before in MLB as well, but I can't remember any examples off the top of my head.
