outfield collision

    thats a sight you don't ever want to see. red sox CF johnny damon was taken off the field in an ambulance after he collided with teammate damian jackson. the two were going for a ball in shallow center field when they collided and smacked their heads together. jackson appears to be ok, but it looks like he's coming out of the game. damon was fitted with a neckbrace and put on a backboard and taken off in an ambulance. he did raise a hand to the fans as they loaded him into the ambulance and appeared to be concious the whole time.

    dang I can't believe Damian Jackson is at the plate right now -

    he looked pretty dazed walking off the field - hell that was pretty damn good that he got wood on the ball after all that

    i thought for sure he would come out. he definitely looked all wobbly and junk.

    update on damon was he did get knocked unconcious for a moment. has a concussion and they may keep him overnight for observations.

    That was really bad. They will both have a helluva headache tomorrow. I hope they will have a win to celebrate.
