    i'm sick of hearing how good a guard is when we recruit him only to realize he isn't as good as advertised.

    You mean maybe Plavich was a bit over hyped?

    All we know about Plavich is the following:

    1) He only averaged 10 points/game at Vandy.

    2) He is 5-25 in two games as a Niner.

    3) He couldnt guard me.

    4) Lefty would still probably blow him.

    yes, i mean plavich. All we hear about is how good he is and how he is a leader. How he is going to make a big difference this year. I sure hope he does something soon.

    Here's even worse spin:

    Remember how we started 14-6, 8-1 in conference in 2002? ON a seven game winning streak, here comes Cincy into Halton. Curtis "don't call me a glove" Nash let Steve Logan walk up to the three point line and hit two threes and we were down 10-2, and never recovered.

    We are 17-23 since that winning streak.
