Let the Panthers play a game like I watched tonight. Stadium would be full and you could hear us in Gastonia. I think all of us would like to see a dominating performance. It must be nice to be a Patriots fan. (I'll regret typing this Wednesday. Since we have a bye I may wait a few additional days before looking forward to the next game.)

Are the Minnesota stands empty, though?

Actually, with 5+ minutes left the radio announcers were commenting on how there was a steady stream of people leaving. Regardless of whether or not other fans do it, thats not what you want to strive for.

actually, I've just backed up the dvr. The stands are empty (not as bad as BOA Sunday but nothing to be proud of)

Brady just commented on how the fans were leaving in the 3rd quarter.

I thought he said " you come into this great environment, and see the fans leaving midway in the fourth quarter"

My daughter lives in Minnesota. I have been to many Viking games. Their fans are nothing special.

Yeah, it definitely thinned out considerably in the 4th.

He could have said 4th. My back was turned to the TV, so I might have heard wrong.

regardless, the stands emptied quickly. I have been to many stadiums. I have yet to attend a game in which the home team fans didn't leave early when obviously losing late in the contest (with the exception of Greenbay although I have seen Greenbay fans leave early on tv). I lived in Kansas for a number of years. KC will empty early also. Denver will do the same.

    vomit-ories

every game has fans from the opposing team. I think none of us enjoy walking down the ramps after a loss. It's called a vomitory for a reason. Another justification for fans to leave early.

By the way, I have left early during several games. All were business related decisions and not based on the level of play. I have refused to go to one game as protest to our play during Capers tenure.

Internet boards are a great way to blow off steam. If you want to get Jerry's attention show him an empty stadium.
