    183.5 today at the Y. Preety good being that the only thing I did this weekend was to bike ride from east charlotte to gardner ave off rozzells ferry.

    Dude, why ride a bike over to Gardner Avenue?


    I haven't worked out in a week, therefore I've lost no weight. I haven't gained either but because I haven't worked out, I feel like a fat, lazy whore.

    I fell off the wagon a bit this past week. I gained one pound. I am back up to 212. I did go to the gym and work out this past week though. That trip to Outback for cheese fries and a blooming onion did not help though. I am back on track though.

    I cut the grass of a friend and drank a couple of beers over there on saturday night so I left my truck and she gave me a ride back home. I pedaled over there on sunday morning as just a thing to say that I can still do. 7.6 miles. 70 dollar bike from walmart. ANYWAY up to 190 today WTF. Thats with no breakfast or lunch and working out hard each day.

    I am almost wondering if working out can slow or stop weight loss. I know in the long run it helps but I wonder if in the short term it does something to your body that causes it to stop losing.

    Could be a couple things. Most likely it's because you didn't eat breakfast or lunch. I know it sounds wierd, but you need to eat in order to lose weight. Otherwise your body doesn't have the proper nutrition to burn the calories that you DO eat. The key isn't to skip meals. It's to eat healthier meals that promote calorie burning.

    Also, the exercise could be developing muscle which, as we all know, weighs more than fat. You may not be losing weight, but you're body is becoming leaner. But again, if you're not eating properly, then your body will be having a hard time building that muscle, so I would lean towards my first theory.

    Have you run a marathon before?? I'm thinking of doing the same thing only enter a half marathon. My eatting is pathetic since I quit running a few years ago. Want to get that "In shape" feeling again.

    188 on friday. I need to stop eating a second supper usually happens around 10:30 or so each night.
