One way to do it is making your FTs. Withers played well but 6-10 from the line isn't getting it done.

Is Basden injured or just worn out? He was a non-factor on offense. Also, zero for two at the line.

Mitch still doesn't look right. He doesn't even look to shoot or take the ball to the hole anymore. The shoulder must be bothering him. We have no choice but to play him 30 minutes because we don't have anyone else to run the team. Goldwire isn't ready yet and Plavich never was and never will be ready. No, Basden isn't a PG.

Maybe Hootie has some eligibility left.

Yep. Mitch being hurt but out there, hurt us. Not an excuse, just the way it goes. But the problem is, this team hasn't gotten better. Getting better means improving the weaknesses, but we're still having trouble hitting FTs, keeping consistency and if Baldwin's not 100%, the open looks won't be there.

 

Look here Magnus, I generally agree with a lot you say and views on things, but you are only looking at the surface of things.

As for me other than that I don't really care. Most all of the 49ers can kiss my ass with the exception of a few. Savio, Barry(cause he is funny), HP on occasion and the ones who aren't really in the middle of this.

Now as far as UNC underachieving the past few years, I guess that shows how much you are into college basketball. They haven't haven't been good with a lot of turnover in players and coaching. You really need to come of something better than the self rightous crap you are trying to pull here. I have seen you blast people in the NFL forum for attacking you, this is no different.

This team has done one thing consistently all season and that's to play down (or in a few cases) up to the level of competition. I can't complain since the record is 14-4, it's just that missed FT's alone account for 2 of the losses and simply being flat in Minges yesterday bother me.

At this point, I'm used to it. Same shit, different year. It would be nice to go through an "uneventful" season.

 

Like I said not directed at you. Hell the ones that it's directed at won't even show themselves now, but I am sure they will come around the next time we lose no matter what the circumstances.
