Orioles not done yet

    After signing Tejada and Javy Lopez the Orioles are still interested in Ivan Rodrequez. The proposed plan (as heard on ESPN Radio) would alternate Ivan and Javy as catcher and then DH. The Mets on the other hand are planning to low ball Vlad Gurerreo offering him CONSIDERABLY less than the Orioles offer of 65 mil over 5 years. If the Orioles pull all this off they could make some serious noise

    The Expos actually offered him considerably more than the Os
    $75 mill over five years

    Guess he just hit free agency at the wrong time

    Expos could be in DC in 2005 . . . I may not mind hanging out with 'les Expos (and future Washington ____________) vs. playing for Peter Angelos :rolleyes: :rolleyes: . . .

    It's gonna suck spending all this money on big names and still not be able to sniff the playoffs.
