what will the punishment be? this guy was probably the #3 senior RB in the country. some are speculating that he needs to be gone for 6 games.

First, they'll be a news conference, with an apology!
Second, Oregon will suspend him for at least 2 games!
Third, The Pac. 10 will weigh in & suggest tougher sanctions!

    Just guessing.

I just saw the replay on ESPN. I thought the Boise St player was a jackass and that blank look on his face as he went down like a sack of seed was priceless. That being said - Blount was way out of line after that punch fighting his own team mates and coaches going off the field and then going after fans in the stands (although I can only imagine the crap the fans were saying to him).

two games suspension is what I'd give him

Wonder what led up to it? I know Oregon just got smurfed but there had to be something else. Somebody said something to somebody and then the punch was thrown? Dude should be gone for more than two games though.

yeah - the BSU player got in his face, said something and smacked his shoulder pads. I'm sure he wasn't telling him good game. I just can't quit laughing watching his little smirk get smacked off his face.

    Hout Will Be Suspended Also!

I'm guessing that Boise State's Byron Hout will also be suspended. Head Coach Chris Peterson was right there & saw the whole incident unfold. He was laying in to Hout after Hout picked himself up off the ground. All of it was captured on tape. Yeah, Hout is going to sit out a game or two.

Another example of another person who has scant business on a college campus. He is and has been trouble. He was spouting all week about how soft Boise State was and how tough he and Oregon was. He talked smack and when asked "how do you feel about us now ? he erupted. I say he's gone for at least half the season and that's being soft. Major college programs should pay more attention to the type of person they want representing their institutions. No knock on JC transfers but they should be very closely evaluated before they are allowed to play.
