    1. 5 other NFL teams have a record worse than ours!
    2. 2 other NFL teams have the same record! We are better than 3 out of 4 teams in the NFC North!
    4. Our defense should finish in the top 10, a flip flop from last year!
    5. We have a rookie that was only .5 sacks back from leading the league!
    6. We have a coach, all be it not always correct, willing to try some new things. - He'll get better.
    7. We could help Cinci with their efforts to tie our NFL record losing season. (1-15).

So we finish the year 4-12 or perhaps a very attainable 6-12. Either way, John Fox has delievered what he promised. He is half way there. Look for significant offensive improvements next year and a potential play off spot.

    I don't think we can attain 6-12, maybe 6-10. ;)

The way things looked going into yesterday, 6-10 would be good by me.

but realistically, how would not have been happy with a 6-10 season before this thing got underway. i think fox has done an outstanding job, and i look for him to really revamp the offense this offseason. this team was absolutely terrible last year and there were too many holes to fill in one offseason, but i see no reason we don't make a run at the playoffs next year.

  5. at this point, would you rather finish 6-10 and pick between 7 and 10 are lose out and pick 3 or 4? So many holes....I say lose out.

mike minter talked about this on panthers.com. it was a really good article. if these guys are busting their ass, we will be a much better team next year if we win out this year. the morale of this team will be very high. 3 or 4 picks isn't gonna make all that much difference in this years draft. WR and QB are both fairly deep in this years draft so i don't think winning out would hurt us all that bad.

  9. while I'd like for the lions and panthers to win out, I'm happy with a competitive effort....I want the lions to get charles rogers to go with harrington and they will unless they win a couple more games. the good news for the panthers is that this year's qb class is deep....probably still get a good one picing 7 to 10.

Fact is we are young and wins equal confidence which I think will equal more wins next year. You always play to win if you don't then why even play?
