If you like westerns you must see Open Range. Robert Duvall's performance is on a par with his role of Gus in Lonesome Dove. Kevin Costner is great and reminds you of why he was so popular a few years ago. The movie is a throw back to the old westerns of the 60s. It is a movie John Wayne might have made.

I have told some friends about it and the ones who have seen it all loved it too. Costner westerns are usually very good but Duvall puts this one over the top. I will definately own this one on dvd when it comes out.

There have been alot of good westerns over the years.

    Unforgiven

    Silverado

    Wyatt Earp

    Tombstone

and even though it was a miniseries Lonesome Dove was as good as it gets
