You know, you hear that song on the radio in Target and suddenly you're transported back to 1983 and you remember that time when you and your friends and the place and it's like deja vu all over again.

Cradle of Love - Billy Idol. I was a senior in high school and was heading to Myrtle for a week with my best friend. We spent all weekend listening to that song, drinking cheap vodka and beer, and trying to score with chicks we knew we never wanted. :)

    yes!

    i can relate to that.

trying to score on chicks for sport! damn.
    :D

i used to play the "numbers thing" with a friend. when we spot a guy, we dont say cute or hot, etc. that's vague. we gave numbers. 1 to 10. 10 = good. we give guys numbers so both of us can tell how hot we think the guy is...also, this way we knew if we were gonna bother to look or not. :D

I Want To Know What Love Is by Foreigner (I think).

That song takes me back to a cold night in 1985, looking out my bedroom window, and desperately someone to fall in love with.

Crush - DMB. Both she and I can't listen to it anymore, even though we're on good terms again it reminds us of where we were. Has nothing to do with the song itself, I don't guess. It reminds me, oddly enough, of being in her mom's house, door cracked slightly, her room smelling of wax and incense, us lying on her bed, me having just driven in a few minutes before, her giving me a handjob hoping her mom won't come in and see her 15 year old baby servicing her boyfriend, boobs plopped out from under her t-shirt.

It would seem to be a nice remembrance for me but generally I try not to think about it. Sorry if that's a little graphic for the average joe but it's a very vivid memory, that one in particular.

'Breakfast at Tiffany's' I was on a redeye flight and everyone was asleep but me. I was so bored, but everytime that song came up in the rotation it cheered me up, I would sing along in my head and do a little seat dance. :)
