    hp- 2 of my friends stay at witherspoon and they are pissed b/c of it. the other fire was in denny i think. i'll find out about it- i'll talk to some of the freshmen tonight.

    Huh? I live in the Spoon and we haven't had a fire alarm since before school even started. All that crap the other night was in Hawthorn.

    whoever is doing this needs to smarten up, they should at least be doing it in the sorority dorms so there is a possibility of some chicks running out of a fire alarm in panties. :D I am kidding of course. :)

    Personally, I'd feel pretty safe (from fire) in any of the dorms, I'm somewhat amazed that to my knowledge, there never has been a fire in any of the on-campus apartments since the first ones were built back in 1977-78. I always had a fear of them burning when I lived there.

    I live in one of the on-campus apts in Witherspoon, and they are very nice. All of our fire alarms, however, pretty much come from the apts. Not fires, but people who can't cook burning the ever-living shit out of something and not having the vent fan on. And this is an honors dorm... pssh.

    lucky bastard. im stuck in Holshouser. one of my friends is in elm and its really nice, im gonna try to stay there next year
