Heh, laugh now, but you're the one who pimped Kyle Boller when I said he was garbage. When it comes to the draft, I know quarterbacks. But yeah, I'd want us to get him in the third or later rather than at #58.

yes, I liked Boller. Still has a hell of a deep arm, and I'm disposed to thinking too much of that specific type of QB - the mobile, deep arm guy. But Clemmons is a second day guy and we don't need a QB.

Aside from a couple of big drops in a couple of games, he's caught everything that's come to him.

Plus he's a 270 ponder. Very Gaines like.

#27. RB White - Okay I give in too

#58. OT Colledge - I like what I've been seeing on him . . . need a potential upgrade and brighter future behind Wharton & Gross

#88. FS Harper - love to have a solid prospect instead of Branch or some other teams rejects

#89. SS Alston - I know he's listed as a OLB but IMO he'd make a great Minter replacement . . . hits big can cover play the run and has 4.4 speed

#121. CB/RS Blackmon - does seem like a no-brainer especially with RMJ gone and i hope our guys would take him if he's still there

#155. OL Montgomery - versitile durable brainy overacheiver, sounds like our type of lineman to work in behind Wahl Hartwig and Mathis

Though I'd rather not bank on Seidman coming through or landing another teams reject from the wire I just don't see them spending another pick on TE.
Yeah we could also use a better #4 DE with Rass gone but given Fox & company's D-line fixation they might have a DE or two on their board somewhere

Havig the Bears third, I'd go.

    27 TE Pope
    58 OT Whitworth
    88 RB Norwood
    89 CB/KR Blackman
    121 G Boothe
    155 DE Wyche

No, we don't need a QB, but he'd be great insurance for Jake at worst. And no, you're mistaken if you think Clemens is a second day guy. He's being mentioned as a second rounder, possibly to Minnesota.
