    That's not a bad idea, Builder. Like you said, there are many who would call themselves 'spiritual', but not 'religious'. Still dealing with the supernatural and how it affects mankind, but the scope is wider.

    i actually had the same thought this morning in the shower. yes, i think about tbr all the time.

    i consider myself deeply spiritual, but i get an uncomfortable feeling when i'm at a church service on sunday mornings.

    i don't really have any definition about my beliefs, and i'm ok with that. i've always thought that labels were limiting. like, if you say you are catholic, that you can't EVER beleive anything that the baptists think. i don't like assuming that i'm right -- especially when there's a good chance i'm not.

    anyway, back to the topic.

    my thought process went like this:

    "spirituality" could put off the mainstream christians, of which there are many here. "religion" is a fairly inclusive term, but even i feel like an outsider because i don't worship in a church on sundays.

    so, i came up with: "religion and spirituality". (i personally liked "the philosophy of religion" but that can be a great thread.) the combination of the two seems to fit well.
