No, Ohio State will not get in. I say that Georgia should leap over Ohio St. if that happens. I would even be happy with LSU in the Natl. championship. Ohio State is not deserving of a title shot. They aren't that good. West Virginia would destroy them, along with Mizzou and I don't want to watch a blowout for the last game of the year.

Well I guess its lucky for Ohio State then that the decision won't be up to you if Pitt or Oklahoma win...............

You are an idiot. Seriously, I go to one thread after another constantly amazed by how dumb you are. Jesus.

In any case, the refs are absolutely trying their best to keep West Virginia in this game. If they somehow pull it out it would be a travesty.

Well, it didn't work - Pitt wins - I don't know who should be in the NC game. I still think LSU and Oklahoma are the best teams. But don't really know if that should be the NC game.

Collin, I was freaking joking. I do not like Ohio State. Nor do I think they are a good team, but at this damn rate, hell, I guess Appalachian State deserves a shot at the BCS title. how can you honestly say that Pitt is better than West Virginia? Just because they beat them? Thats god-awful. This year is a perfect example of why we need a playoff system.

A playoff system is precisely what would say that Pitt is better than West Virginia, because if this were a playoff, Pitt would advance to the next round. Instead the current system acknowledges that one team beating another in one week doesn't necessarily mean that they're better. Anything can happen on any particular week, which is why it's far better to judge teams based on the entirety of their regular season performance.

Pitt wouldn't be in the playoffs. Remember this is still a regular season game......WVU would still make the playoffs, pitt wouldn't.

Good lord. The way I have to explain every little thing to you in explicit detail with monosyllabic words makes me feel like I'm speaking with a sixth grader, only the sixth graders I've worked with struck me as more intelligent.

Playoffs are the systems that say one team is better than another, not based on what they've done the entire season long, but rather that one day. So a playoff system would say that Pitt is better than West Virginia. The current system does not, because the BCS format acknowledges that losing one particular game doesn't make you inferior. What counts is what you do over the course of the entire season.
