Maybe. I'm still not counting out Michigan to beat OSU, and maybe VaTech to beat Miami. Is the Tech/Miami game in Blacksburg or the Orange Bowl?

  3. at this point, that would make Tech's season. Miami has struggled against a few teams this year...they usually just pull away in the 4th qtr to give a deceiving score.

This is why I dislike the BCS. It's dependant on voting polls (which is why they came up with the BCS anyway - to take the subjectivity out of it), so if you lose a game late in the season, you become a worse team than you are currently are ranked. So if you're the best team in the country, and you lose, you're not the best team in the country anymore. Something about that just doesn't jive.

Yeah they slack off too much, usually the hare wins, but once in awhile the tortoise gets couple of lucky breaks once UM wakes up. Wish their whole season was #1 contenders

I really hope Michigan beats Ohio State. We don't need another lame championship game... or do we. :D The BCS sucks and the worse the game the better. How bout Washington State vs Ohio State for the title. Dat would really suck IMO. I hope Miami trips up at Va Tech or Pitt and those 2 win out. Screw the BCS. I'd rather see Miami vs Oklahoma anyway!

Get on the phone to your bookie now. Take the Canes. For the next month.

Miami will kill the teams in their last three games. It will not even be close. I wonder what the Pitt line will be so I won't say bet it no matter WHAT the cost (21 or so may be too much), but Syracuse and VT have no chance to cover whatever number THE MAN puts up in those games. None. People will look at a 2 TD spread for the Va Tech game and actually think that Tech may cover it. Do not be fooled by this. Miami will embarrass us too. Make money from this. Take the Canes. It will be better than stealing from babies.

Can't say who I'd like to see in the BCS game. None of the one loss teams impress me and Ohio State struggles a good deal on offense....

  9. Yep, exactly what kshead said. Miami will win out.

Ohio State isn't that good - they struggle with Purdue (didn't lowly Wake beat Purdue), and they pass Miami? Miami goes to Rocky Top and steals their orange undies - and the Canes are #2?

If everyone keeps disrespecting them, it only makes them more ill. The Canes will finish undefeated, and will win the BCS.

I wish they'd lose - and give some more ammo for a true playoff...grrr...

Ohio State has struggled with teams all year, they just managed to pull out a lot of games late. Penn State should have kicked their ass, but they couldn't move the ball in the red zone.
Trying to get people I work with to realize that Iowa IS going to the Rose Bowl EITHER WAY! If OSU wins, they play for the title...if OSU loses they are no longer the Big 10 leader, Iowa wins the Big 10...of course they have to beat a decent Minnesota team.
Some of these turds actually beleive that if OSU were to lose and Iowa wins, the Hawks play for the title...while it is on the radar, it's not remotely close to firing range! Every team ranked ahead of Iowa would have to lose, and even then (based on a schedule bolstering such NCAA powerhouses as Akron and Utah State) there is no gaurantee that a 2 loss team wouldn't leap frog them.

The friggin' way OSU deserves to be there other than the fact they haven't lost...YET! For the first time in my life, I find myself routing for the Wolverines???
