Everything has gone MY way today...almost everything...the glass is half full in McFly land!!!
First, Iowa State made my prediction of five years ago come true. Down 24-7 at the half, MUCH like the FSU game, ISU worked their way back to beat Iowa 36-31. There are SOOOOOOO many people that I made this prediction to five years ago that wanted to bet me on it that I could have made LITERALLY thousands of $$$ on this game. That I could have is good enough for me, cuz IF I had made those bets...ISU would have lost tonight.
I'll just be happy to feed them all some West Nile Crow a la shit sandwich!!!
THEN, my Nittny Lions are kicking the ever lovin crap out of the Cornholers.
Plus, Notre Dame beat Michigan...I don't know that any of my favs lost today, although I haven't seen a Northern Iowa or Iowa Wesleyan score yet...still 5 in a row and PSU over Nebraska...

Sorry dude but Iowa State is like a small red pimple on a 300 pound ass. Nobody notices it and if they do they ignore it.

FSU almost paid dearly for ignoring that pimple!
I didn't expect that anyone would really give a shit, although, I get interested in ALL the in state rivalries. Colorado vs. Colorado State is my favorite, that's always a good game.
The Carolina rivals are more interesting come basketball season, but South Carolina and NC State, while not in-state, is a good boarder war on the grid iron. Duke against anybody is laughable!
Just thought you guys would find it amusing that ALL my favorites won last week...that doesn't happen often, since I am not a fairweather type of guy.
ISU will be put to the test starting next week against Nebraska. After that it's three more weeks of the Big 12's baddest MO FO's, I think it's Texas Tech, Oklahoma, and KSU in no certain order. Their strength of schedule is ranked 6th in the nation. If they come out of it with a bowl appearance, people should take notice.
Both Iowa and Iowa State should continue to improve and the rivalry should become one of the top in the nation if they can get into a yearly exchange of the Cy-Hawk Trophy.
