We have a pretty wide variety of baseball team fans on the board so I wouldn't mind hearing what they think are their teams biggest needs and how they can go about fixing them. I'm particularly interested in Grids assessment of the Bo-Sox after the Valentine implosion.

As for my Phils in no particular order:
    • Outfield - They need at least one outfielder more than likely a centerfielder. I'm not convinced Victorino is gone for good. I believe they are planning on moving Ruf to the outfield since he has Howard is the teams 1st baseman
    • Settle on a third baseman. I'd like to waive and resign Polanco for a decent price as he can back up at a couple of spot and he is still a pretty good hitter for average. Rumor has Utley moving to 3rd and Galvis being the teams 2nd baseman.
    • Relief pitching. The setup man has KILLED the Phillies for the past two years primarily due to Contreas being injured. I'm very envious of Atlanta's bullpen. I'm hoping the pitcher they got from LA in the Victorino trade can be that guy.
The rotation as it is will be Halladay, Hamels, Lee and some combination of Worley, Kendrick, and Cloyd. I'm hoping Phillipp Aument, and Justin De Fratus get shots at the parent team as middle and long relief and eventual starters as well as Cloyd. Halladay isn't the same pitcher he was 2 years ago but he is a great role model for the youngsters as far as how to prepare for the game etc.

The offense and middle reflief are the off season focus points. But a lot of the offensive problems was Howard and Utley being out half the year. I REALLY hated them trading Pence especially for what they gave up and in turn got back. We'll see
