    Killer Angels is a great book. I read in back during the December ice storn for the first time. Now I gotta get the time to watch Gettysburg again.

    I am pretty confused as to how they are putting Chaberlain in a major role. His first real pivitol role for the Union Army was his action on Little Round Top at Gettysburg. After this he did play a big part, but before he was a nobody - he was only a captain at G-burg, I think. On a different note, my professor told us a story that one of his students had told him.

    His grandmother lived in the Shenedoah Valley and one day som foreign gentlemen knock at the door asking for directions. This being the 30's, she invites them in for a glass of tea and they have a conversation. The man was Rommel doing a study of Jackson's Valley campaign.

    Now, go back and look at his North Africa campaign and tell me if you don't start to see striking similarities.
