    its been speculated already... and Cuse and BC have been the other two teams named... neither team has gone on record, but a few Syracuse and BC coaches were talking about the possibility

    I am not real thrilled with suckacuse being in the ACC. I have always considered it more or less a southern conferance...with exception of Maryland. Aside from the fact that I really dislike suckacuse I would be a little surprised if the conferance passed enough yes votes for three schools. Getting a Miami would be no small task, two others would be a little surprising. I was also thinking that V-Tech was one of the rumored schools to be coming in...now thats a school that would be cool to have. Think about that in terms of football... Miami, FSU and V-Tech.. whew thats a tough schedule there.

    I honestly think 'Cuse brings the most to the table in this deal. Sure Miami is a powerhouse in football, but The Orangemen are way above average in football and basketball. Either way, with the exception of breaking up the Big Four, I'd love to see UM, BC and 'Cuse come aboard.

    virginia tech isn't part of this deal -- the acc is going after TV markets. look at the major markets that would have an acc tie-in if those three came aboard. this is all about position for the upcoming tv contract. once the big east goes down, theat money will go into the new ACC. it will be a REAL acc then: it will dominate the eastern time zone.
