Bad Taste (1987) - produced and directed by Peter Jackson, who went on to do a trilogy called Lord Of The Rings. A low budget comedy/horror that I highly recommend. A smorgasbord of vomit-drinking, brain-eating debauchery. Not for those with weak stomachs.

Resevoir Dogs was a good one. So was Donnie Darko.

If you like movies with mostly dialog, although it wasn't obscure at the time, Woody Allen's MANHATTAN was good. 'Bout an affair involving an underage young morsel (Muriel Hemmingway, I believe played the part).

Anybody remember the "actress" Sybil Danning from the early eighties? First fantasies I ever had about chicks.

well if you're going to bring up bad taste...you've got to mention dead alive. gnarly effects and a nice twist...keep the zombies in the house as opposed to keeping them out. there's a lawnmower scene...zombie sex...zombie baby from aforementioned encounter...a holy man that "kicks ass for the lord"...and a nastly little sumatran rat monkey undead beastie that causes it all.

another one, not by peter jackson, that i find similar is cemetery man, or if it's the original italian-language version, delamorte, delamore. fun movie about the lengths we will go to for love.

    I LOVE that movie. :mushy:

I saw a somewhat obscure movie this year called, "The Sin Eater" with Heath Ledger. Interesting. Dark, but interesting.
