Number one pick tie breaker

Discussion in 'Carolina Panthers' started by Tiorted Snoil, Dec 24, 2002.

  1. say Detroit looses which they will and Cinci wins which could happen....who gets the number one pick? If it is opponent's winning percentage....Detroit gets it.

Opponent's Strength of Schedule - I think Detroit would have the edge there.

If both end 3-13 Detroit gets the first pick based on current opponents winning %. Shouldn't really effect anything unless your looking at trading up with Cincy. I think Detroit goes with Rogers either way.

They'll just have to pay a little more for him if they pick him #1 - :D

Yep they are going with Rogers regardless. Just makes it a done deal if they are at #1. Otherwise someone could come up and get him in a trade with Cincy. Won't happen IMO. Rogers will be a lion.

  6. Depends who the coach is for Detroit. I think they'd go McGahee over Rogers....the entire D is effected by a rb, a wr only effects half the field.
