I still think we have a huge need at WR.

Well mentioned yes, but we didn't know that for a fact. I think most of us were thinking the 1st pick would have to be a lineman. Now we have some options. I just have always liked it if you can place doubt in the minds of the teams drafting after you.

I guess I've just been hoping the first pick wouldn't be a lineman.

Well I guess for me on the lineman signing, I didn't really expect them to go after a top tier lineman. I just figured it would be an average to ok one.

I would say WR and FS are now the glaring needs. Depth at LB and a versatile O-lineman would be right up there. A pass catchin TE would be a secondary need, if only as an upgrade.
Starting to think we could see a early second day QB to compete as well, I'd like to see us get David Greene in the fourth if he is still there.

i see an offensive lineman, safety, and WR on day 1, and maybe some finaglin' to get into best position for the ones we want. why the fuck not. wr might not be that important IF we can put the line together correctly. if we can stuff it down people's throats it'll really open the playaction and take the need for a day 1 wr away imho. if miller can block he would maybe take away the need for a round 1 lineman and make this O a lot more dangerous.

shit, this is awesome, because we still have the whole FA period we usually deal with, cheaper guys with something to prove, and that could change a lot between now and draft day.

We have two good receivers and a serviceable 3rd if Proehl doesn't retire. Finding a serviceable 3rd for cheap will not be that difficult, IMO.

I am really liking Heath Miller and/or David Baas, if we can get them. I would be incredibly stoked about next year. I wouldn't mind seeing a safety either.
