    UNC announced a little after 4 today that some guy named Butch Davis will be the coach. Even though he has been out of coaching for years...and college coaching for even longer...UNC figured they had to take who they could get. Apparently negotiations with Skip broke off after he asked for 10 million per year...

    So...you guys got your third choice. The Tulsa guy turned down the offer as well according to multiple sources...

    Had Bunting not had a decent year 2 years ago, it would've been Spurrier... does that mean Spurrier isn't as good as Bunting??

    I would have preferred Chizik, but in any case, the past doesn't count for anything except maybe recruiting. I'm willing to give him time, I'm just saying that because he won at Miami doesn't mean he's going to win here.
