    Chancellor Jim Woodward is stepping down within the next year and a search is now underway for his replacement. Football supporters must keep the pressure on to make sure the replacement is supportive of establishing a football program. Now is the time to make sure there is a chance for football.

    I'm sure a pro-football educator is the first thing the Board of Trustees' search committee will be looking for in a new chancellor. That would save me several thousand yearly knowing that's all UNC Charlotte needs. :rolleyes:

    I'm with YINZER, perhaps Russ IS the answer.

    I don't think Russ can do that, he is just a baseball star that could bring success to the 49er baseball program.
