Ginyards been begging Duke for an offer. None came.

Duke is gonna sit tight and pick up killer recruits after the dust settles. They always do.

Ginyard is a much better player than Manuel. Actually Ginyard is a lot like Dockery at Duke with a little more size and a lot more athletism. He is a solid player that can play the point. I've heard Dwayne Wade mentioned as a close comparision.

 

Every Dookie on EVERY Dook message board is spilling that now... "We never wanted him... He's just another Manuel..." Just admit it was a loss and accept it... quit trying to downgrade the signing... for someone who said they didn't "use a message board for info" you sure are spewing a lot of the same crap the other Dookies are on those message boards

 

We never offered Ginyard. Kinda hard to argue with that.

Ginyard wanted Duke badly and did play at their camp (not like they would turn any top 50 player down) but how does that change the fact that they never offered him?

 

So, what's your point. Jason Williams was begging UNC for an offer. I hope this one becomes payback. Fact is - you never really know.

 

But dook did recruit him. Many players are recruited but don't get offers. Why put an offer out there to a player that you know you will not get that could scare away another player at the same spot that you could?

 

And I would never say we took Jason from you. It is common knowledge Gut didn't want to recruit over Cota so didn't offer Williams. Brain is just being a little bitch and somehow finds it insulting that we never offered Ginyard.
